Deleting Tracks

Any Track may be deleted from the Library simply by selecting the Track and pressing <Delete> . A dialog will appear allowing you to choose whether to delete the entry from the Library only, or delete the entry and the actual file.

Note that deleted Tracks are sent to the Recycle Bin (pressing <Shift><Delete> results in permanent deletion).

Deleting CDs, Artists, Albums, etc.

Any CD, Artist, or Album can be similarly deleted by selecting the node in the Tree and pressing <Delete> .  Dialogs will appear asking whether you also want to delete any Tracks that are contained within that CD, Artist, or Album.

Deleting Tracks from the Now Playing list

When the Now Playing node is active, selecting a Track and pressing <Delete> removes the Track from the Now Playing list or Playlist--the Track is not deleted.

Deleting from Virtual CD

Deleting Tracks from a Virtual CD can be a bit tricky, since in some cases, you'll want to delete the Track entirely (normal delete operation), while in others, you may simply want to remove it from the Virtual CD. In the latter case, you can:

• Go to the Virtual CD node in the tree, select the Track(s) to be removed and press <Delete>.
• Click Edit > Properties for any Track, go to the Virtual CD tab, and press the Remove button.
